Broadcasting revenues of Süper Lig teams revealed! How much did Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe earn?

Galatasaray, which finished the 2023-2024 season as champions of the Süper Lig, received the largest share of broadcasting revenue.

The yellow-red club earned 239.9 million liras, while league runners-up Fenerbahçe received 217.2 million liras.

Beşiktaş secured 3rd place in the broadcasting revenue distribution with 145 million liras.

Trabzonspor with 141.9 million liras and Başakşehir with 109.9 million liras were the other clubs that managed to surpass the 100 million threshold.

While 14 teams in the league earned between 72.3 and 94.9 million liras from the broadcasting pool, the bottom-placed team, İstanbulspor, had to settle for 56.4 million liras.

EXPENDITURE-REVENUE IMBALANCE

There is a significant gap between the expenditures of Süper Lig clubs and their broadcasting revenue.

For Galatasaray, the 239.9 million lira broadcasting revenue corresponds to 7.7 million euros based on the season's average exchange rate.

However, the total sum of transfer fee payments and football/coach salary entitlements for the yellow-red team this season alone is 152.7 million euros.

Fenerbahçe, which has 160.2 million euros in expenses for the same expenditure items, saw its broadcasting revenue correspond to 6.9 million euros.

Against 90.1 million euros in spending at Beşiktaş, the broadcasting revenue earned remained at 4.6 million euros.

Trabzonspor, meanwhile, was able to generate 4.5 million euros in revenue from broadcasting against 84.1 million euros in expenses across just two items.
