Süper Lig side Antalyaspor and Bursaspor faced off in the 3rd Qualifying Round of the Ziraat Turkish Cup. The match, played at Corendon Airlines Park Antalya Stadium, was won 3-0 by the hosts Antalyaspor, who advanced to the 4th round.
While the opening minutes of the match were balanced, Ramzi Safuri put Antalyaspor ahead 1-0 with a penalty goal in the 36th minute. Starting the second half quickly, the home team extended the lead to three with goals from Tomas Cvancara in the 48th minute and Yohan Boli in the 60th minute. The score remained unchanged in the remaining minutes, and the match ended with a 3-0 victory for Antalyaspor.
Head Coach Tahsin Tam gave opportunities to many young players, taking into account the busy fixture in the league. Although the green-and-white team produced effective attacks from time to time throughout the match, they could not score against their Süper Lig opponent.
