Bursaspor takes measures against black market ticket sales

Bursaspor, which broke the attendance record in the TFF 3rd League with 43,160 fans, has taken measures to ensure that fans do not suffer from black market ticket sales on match days.

Listening to the complaints of fans who were unable to purchase paper tickets after online ticket sales were previously removed, the management plans to prevent the black market by limiting online ticket purchases to 2 per person.

Bursaspor President Enes Çelik stated on social media, “The biggest reason for the problems experienced in our first two matches, which saw record attendance, was the duplicate use of online tickets and QR codes.

Hundreds of duplicate entry issues occurred at the control areas outside the stadium and at the turnstiles, which also victimized our fans who wanted to enter the match with their purchased tickets/season passes.

As a result of our meetings with the police, we had decided to sell only paper tickets for this match to ensure this problem does not happen again. We acknowledge the justified complaints of our fans who are out of town or unable to come due to working hours, and we are offering tickets for sale with a limit of only 2 (two) per person for online purchases.”
