Call for Galatasaray to 'withdraw from the Champions League'!

Galatasaray General Assembly member Adnan Yılmaz argued that Galatasaray's victory in the Bayern Munich match was stolen by the referee and called on the management to withdraw from the tournament.

Yılmaz stated the following:

"In the Champions League match played against Bayern Munich in Germany, Galatasaray's victory was definitively taken away. The ones responsible for this are the referee and the UEFA management that assigned this referee to the match. It is UEFA that should pay the price, not the victimized Galatasaray. The goals should be reviewed and the result announced accordingly. When the goals are reviewed, Galatasaray's offside goal should be validated, and the goal scored by Bayern Munich from an offside position should be canceled. It is clear that the match ended with a 2-1 victory for Galatasaray. If UEFA will not save its honor, the necessary moral lesson should be given to UEFA by withdrawing from the Champions League. The name Galatasaray is very great. If Galatasaray withdraws from the Champions League, UEFA will correct its mistake. Punishing the referee does not eliminate Galatasaray's grievance. UEFA's duty was not to punish the referee, but to ensure justice."
