Recently, claims had emerged regarding experienced player Caner Erkin, who last played for Eyüpspor, suggesting that he would retire from football at the end of the season.
Caner Erkin addressed the issue in a post on his social media account, stating that he will continue to play football and will remain on the pitch until the age of 40, as long as his health permits.

The 35-year-old footballer's agent, Batur Altıparmak, stated, "The reports on social media claiming that 'Caner Erkin has retired from football' do not reflect the truth. Our player, who is continuing his active career at Eyüpspor, will continue to play football as long as his mental and physical health allows."
