Two-time Grand Slam champion Carlos Alcaraz faced the world number 60, Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic. The Spanish racket defeated his Serbian opponent 3-0 with sets of 6-4, 6-4, and 6-0 to reach the quarterfinals of the tournament.
