Carlos Tevez, manager of the Argentine club Independiente, has made striking statements.

Tevez revealed that 3 players on the Argentine team are illiterate.

The 39-year-old manager said, "Three of my players told me they don't know how to add or subtract. This is poverty! You can feed a child, you can help them, but their studies... These kids don't even know what kind of contract they are signing."

Tevez also added, "I spoke with the club and we decided to hire a teacher for them. They study for 2 hours after training."
