It has been reported that there is no suspicion of foul play in the death of Gabonese footballer Aaron Boupendza, who lost his life after falling from the 11th floor of an apartment building in Hangzhou, China, where he was continuing his career.

According to a statement from the Hangzhou Public Security Bureau, the 28-year-old footballer, who played for the Chinese Super League team Zhejiang FC, lost his life after falling from the balcony of his rented apartment in Yuhang district during the afternoon.

Police teams, who arrived at the apartment following reports from bystanders, found Boupendza injured. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the 28-year-old footballer could not be saved despite all interventions.
