Fenerbahçe's star footballer Cenk Tosun has clarified rumors circulating about his divorce from his wife, Ece Tosun, via his social media account. The couple, who married in 2018, have two children.
In his social media post, Cenk Tosun stated, "As a footballer who keeps his family life private, I was astonished to see reports that we have divorced. We have a happy marriage and a peaceful home."
The footballer noted that publishing such baseless claims without verification could have negative effects on his wife and children, adding, "I cannot accept such baseless claims being circulated without any research, and without considering that it would upset my wife and affect my children."
