The Champions League final matchup is set
In the UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg, Paris Saint-Germain defeated Arsenal 2-1 to advance to the final. PSG will face Inter in the final.
In the UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg, French side Paris Saint-Germain hosted English representative Arsenal.
The home team took a 1-0 lead with a goal from Fabian Ruiz in the 27th minute, and the first half ended with this score. The French side was awarded a penalty in the 66th minute.
Following a VAR review, referee Felix Zwayer awarded a penalty to PSG. Vitinha stepped up to take the spot-kick, but goalkeeper Raya denied the goal. In the 72nd minute, Achraf Hakimi scored to extend PSG's lead to two.
Arsenal brought the score to 2-1 in the 76th minute with a goal from Saka.
As neither team could convert their attacks in the remaining minutes, the French side left the pitch with a 2-1 victory.
Having also won the first leg 1-0, PSG secured their place in the final and became Inter's opponent. The Champions League final match will be played at the Munich Arena on Saturday, May 31.
