Champions League matches of the night have concluded: Here are the results
Nine matches were played on the 5th matchday of the Champions League, the premier club-level competition in European football.
The most lopsided result of the day was recorded by Spanish side Atletico Madrid, who defeated Czech team Sparta Prague 6-0 away from home.
Atalanta defeated Young Boys away, and Bayer Leverkusen beat Salzburg, both with 5-0 scorelines.
English side Manchester City, meanwhile, drew 3-3 with Dutch club Feyenoord after conceding goals in the final 15 minutes of a match they had led 3-0 at home.
In the marquee match of the night, Bayern Munich defeated Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 at home with a goal from Kim Min-jae.
