Championship race could be decided today: Foreign VAR referees appointed for 2 Süper Lig matches
The TFF Central Referee Board (MHK) has appointed foreign VAR referees for the Karagümrük - Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe - Kayserispor matches, which are critical to the championship race in the Süper Lig.
All matches in the 36th week of the Süper Lig will be played this evening at 19:00.
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Central Referee Board (MHK) has appointed foreign video assistant referees (VAR) for the matches of Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, both of which are competing for the championship.
Helder Malheiro from the Portuguese Football Federation will serve as the VAR for the match where league leaders Galatasaray will be guests of Fatih Karagümrük at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium.
Claudio Pereira, also from Portugal, will occupy the VAR seat for the match where Fenerbahçe will host Kayserispor.
