The TFF 3rd League began with incidents in Düzce. Bursaspor, which has a Super Lig championship title, was the guest of Düzcespor in an away match.
While a quota of 450 fans was allocated for the match, approximately 5 thousand Bursaspor fans arrived in Düzce. As the away stand became packed to capacity, fans who could not enter the stadium caused disturbances outside.
Police teams intervened with pepper spray and pressurized water against Bursaspor fans who attempted to break down barriers to enter the field.

Bursaspor fans were seen throwing stones and foreign objects at police teams. Later, the green-and-white fans were boarded onto their buses. Some fans were injured in various parts of their bodies during the incidents and were treated by medical teams that arrived at the scene.

Without waiting for the second half of the match, Bursaspor fans were removed from the stands. The fans were then escorted out of Düzce by security teams.
