Chief Wrestler Ali Altun has passed away
Chief Wrestler Ali Altun, who fell ill while training at a gym in Antalya's Konyaaltı district, has passed away following a heart attack. It was learned that the young wrestler will be laid to rest at the Yeniköy cemetery tomorrow.
The incident occurred around noon in the Konyaaltı district of Antalya. According to the information obtained, Ali Altun, a wrestler for Döşemealtı Municipality Sports Club, fell ill while training at a gym located in the Konyaaltı district.

Altun, who is believed to have suffered a heart attack and was taken to a private hospital in the area by his friends, could not be saved despite all interventions by doctors. It was learned that Ali Altun will be laid to rest at the Yeniköy cemetery tomorrow.

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE FROM THE MAYOR
Meanwhile, Döşemealtı Mayor Menderes Dal, who went to the hospital where Ali Altun was taken after learning of his passing, published a message on his social media account. In his message, Dal stated, “Our municipal wrestler, Chief Wrestler Ali Altun, has passed away as a result of a heart attack. We are deeply saddened by the loss of our chief wrestler at such a young age. I wish God's mercy upon Ali Altun and extend my condolences to his family, loved ones, and the entire wrestling community.”
