Clear victory for the Sultans of the Net against Poland

The Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team began the third week of the 2026 Volleyball Nations League (VNL) with a victory. Facing Poland in Osaka, Japan, the Sultans of the Net left the court with a 3-1 result.
The national team took the lead in the match by winning the competitive first set 27-25. After losing the second set 20-25, Turkey regained control in the following two sets. The crescent-and-star team finished the third and fourth sets with scores of 25-19 to win the match.
With this result, the Sultans of the Net reached their seventh victory in the Nations League. Melisa Vargas, who produced 23 points in the match, was Turkey's top scorer.
