Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk made a statement regarding Angelino, whose performance has been under scrutiny.
When asked, "Is the clause true that his contract will be extended if Angelino plays 5 more matches?" Okan Buruk replied, "I don't know the exact details of the contract. I evaluate players from a technical standpoint. I don't evaluate them based on contracts. I want to evaluate based on performance. Angelino has already received significant playing time."
Regarding the player's performance, Buruk said, "We want him to meet our expectations. He is a professional and valuable player. He is working, and we want him to reach a state where he meets our expectations as soon as possible. He came to a new team, a new country. It is difficult to play for big teams. With this many spectators, this much interaction on social media... It is sometimes difficult to play for the team with the highest number of fans in Turkey. He is working, and we will evaluate him."
