Manchester United's experienced midfielder Casemiro spoke about the fact that they are not competing for trophies. In his statement, Casemiro said, "Some nights I can't sleep just because of the fact that we are not competing for trophies. It frustrates me."
Casemiro, who transferred to Manchester United from Real Madrid, spoke about the current state of their team.
Making candid remarks, the Brazilian defensive midfielder described their inability to be in the title race as "frustrating."
In his statement, the Brazilian player Casemiro said; "It frustrates me that we are not competing for trophies. The gap between us and the leader is 20 points. Some nights I can't sleep because of this. That is the reality. Right now, we cannot think about goals like the championship or the Champions League. We just have to think about the upcoming matches. We had the chance to collect 9 points in the last few matches, but we only managed to get 2 points".
Manchester United is currently in 6th place in the Premier League with 49 points. The Red Devils, who competed in the Champions League group that included Galatasaray, experienced a major failure, finishing the group in last place and bidding farewell to Europe.
