EuroLeague management has announced its decision regarding the home games of Israeli teams in European competitions. The management has approved for Israeli clubs to play their matches in their own country starting from December 1.

ISRAELI GOVERNMENT PROVIDED SECURITY GUARANTEES

It was reported that the decision was brought to the agenda during the EuroLeague shareholders' meeting held on Tuesday. During the meeting, the current situation in Israel and Gaza, the ceasefire process, and ongoing peace negotiations were evaluated. According to the European press, the Israeli government provided official guarantees to the EuroLeague regarding security.

TEAMS ARE RETURNING TO THEIR COURTS

In line with this decision, EuroLeague teams Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv, as well as EuroCup representative Hapoel Jerusalem, will be able to play their home games in their own country again as of December 1.
