Çorluspor manager loses life in armed attack
Ersin Aka, the manager of 3rd League Group 3 team Çorluspor 1947, has lost his life following an armed attack. Police are continuing their efforts to apprehend the assailant.
Ersin Aka, the manager of TFF 3rd League team Çorluspor, has lost his life following an armed attack.
The incident occurred at approximately 15:00 in the Çorlu district of Tekirdağ. While walking on Adnan Kahveci Street in the Mühittin neighborhood, Çorluspor 1947 manager Ersin Aka was subjected to an armed attack by an unidentified individual.
Aka, who was critically wounded by bullets fired from the assailant's handgun, collapsed to the ground covered in blood. Upon notification by bystanders, medical and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
DIED IN HOSPITAL
Ersin Aka was transported to Çorlu State Hospital by medical teams. However, despite all interventions by doctors, he could not be saved and lost his life.

POLICE LAUNCHED DETAILED INVESTIGATION
Following the assailant's flight from the scene, police teams conducted a detailed investigation. A large-scale operation has been launched to capture the perpetrator who fled.
HAD RECENTLY TAKEN CHARGE OF THE TEAM
Ersin Aka had been appointed as the manager of Çorluspor 1947 on October 25. In the short time he spent with his team, Ersin Aka had achieved 3 wins, 1 draw, and 1 defeat.
