Beşiktaş player Gedson Fernandes said after the defeat to Gaziantep FK: "There is not much to say. The fans don't deserve this. We need to talk among ourselves and see what we need to improve."
In the closing match of the week in the Süper Lig, Beşiktaş was the guest of Gaziantep FK. Gaziantep FK defeated Beşiktaş 2-0 in the first match under their new head coach Selçuk İnan.
After the match, Beşiktaş midfielders Gedson Fernandes and Daniel Amartey made statements.
In his statement, Gedson Fernandes said; "There is not much to say. The fans don't deserve this. We need to talk among ourselves and see what we need to improve. There shouldn't be any lapses in concentration during the game."
Daniel Amartey stated; "It is very sad for me. We came here to win. The result was very bad. It's hard to say, but football is like this sometimes. We need to be together and make our fans happy."
