"It has been decided that the Beşiktaş vs. Maccabi Tel Aviv UEFA Europa League match will be played in Debrecen, Hungary, which was the only country to accept hosting the match as a result of our club's negotiations with UEFA, the national federations affiliated with UEFA, and local authorities.
Although an agreement had been reached with local Hungarian authorities for the Beşiktaş vs. Maccabi Tel Aviv match to be played with spectators, the local Hungarian authorities have decided today that the match will be played behind closed doors, citing the incidents that occurred during the Ajax vs. Maccabi Tel Aviv match."
The Beşiktaş vs. Maccabi Tel Aviv UEFA Europa League match will be played behind closed doors on November 28, 2024, at the Nagyerdei Stadium in Debrecen, Hungary. To avoid any inconvenience, we kindly request that our fans do not make travel arrangements regarding this match."
