Deaf Women's National Football Team becomes world runner-up

Participating for the first time in the organization hosted by the capital Kuala Lumpur, the crescent-and-star team reached the semi-finals after defeating England and Japan, despite losing to Poland and the USA in the group stage, and achieved the success of reaching the final by defeating Poland 2-1 in the semi-final rematch.

The national team, which played the final match against the USA at the KLFA Stadium, lost the match 3-0 and became the world runner-up.

Meanwhile, the Deaf Men's National Football Team finished 9th in the same championship.
