In the 30th week of the Süper Lig, Fenerbahçe defeated Trabzonspor with a decisive 4-1 score. However, a social media post made by commentator Ali Ferahbot after the match quickly became a trending topic.
A POST THAT CREATED A STIR AFTER THE MATCH
In this challenging encounter that directly affected the championship race, the yellow-navy blues did not give up despite conceding the first goal and achieved a strong comeback. Ali Ferahbot, the person who called the match, drew attention with the statement he made on social media after the game.
"WHAT ARE THESE DEATH THREATS?"
In his statement, Ferahbot expressed his disappointment by stating that he received threatening messages from some viewers, saying, "I can understand the complaints and criticisms of those who don't know me to a certain extent, but what are these insults and death threats, man? It's just football, one will win and the other will lose; there are more important things in the world. At the end of the match, the players hugged each other, the loser congratulated the winner, and it was over."
