Defeat leads to resignation: Coaching change at Süper Lig side
Following recent results in the Süper Lig, Eyüpspor has decided to part ways with head coach Selçuk Şahin.
Süper Lig side Eyüpspor has accepted the resignation of head coach Selçuk Şahin. Şahin had submitted his resignation following the match against Kocaelispor, and this request was approved by the board. Under Şahin's management, Eyüpspor was only able to collect 5 points in the 8 matches played in the league.
In an official statement, the Eyüpspor club said, "The resignation request submitted by our head coach Selçuk Şahin following the Kocaelispor match has been accepted as a result of a mutual evaluation with our board of directors. We thank him for his contributions to our club and wish him success in his future career."
