According to an ESPN report, Everton, which holds the registration for Dele Alli, wants to reintegrate the English player—who has not trained with the first team for a long time—back into the squad and field him.
However, under the agreement made between Alli's former club Tottenham and Everton, Everton is required to pay Tottenham 11.5 million euros if Dele Alli makes 20 official appearances for Everton.
The report states that Everton, unwilling to pay this fee for Dele Alli, who has played in 13 official matches since joining the club, will begin talks with Tottenham to negotiate a reduction in the 11.5 million euro clause in the contract.
The 27-year-old Dele Alli, who has appeared in 13 official matches for Everton, has failed to contribute any goals or assists in those games.
