Fenerbahçe presidential candidate Aziz Yıldırım, who announced his candidacy following current president Ali Koç, has released a last-minute statement. A denial has been issued regarding reports circulating on social media claiming that Aziz Yıldırım has finalized his board of directors list.
In his statement, Aziz Yıldırım said: "Disinformation is being created on social media by publishing some untrue management lists in my name.
I have not yet prepared any management or board list. I will begin my work after the press conference I will hold on Wednesday, May 15, and I will meet with the individuals I am considering for my management/boards.
These types of manipulative posts are extremely shameful. As I have stated many times before, I request that the public do not give credence to such false information that has not come from me," he stated.
