Deniz Öncü finishes 5th in Thailand!
National motorcycle racer Deniz Öncü finished 5th in the 17th leg of the Moto3 World Championship held in Thailand.
The 17th race of the championship was held over 19 laps at the 4.5-kilometer Chang International Circuit in the Buriram region.
David Alonso from the Gaviota GASGAS Aspar team saw the checkered flag first in the race, which he started from the 12th position.
Deniz, a pilot for the Red Bull KTM Ajo team, finished the race in 5th place after starting from pole position.
Increasing his points to 191, Deniz remains in 5th place in the championship standings, 39 points behind the leader Jaume Masia (Leopard team).
The 18th race of the season, which will be hosted by Malaysia, will be held on November 12.
