Galatasaray Ekmas has announced that they have parted ways with head coach Zvezdan Mitrovic.
Galatasaray's statement is as follows:
"We have mutually agreed to part ways with Zvezdan Mitrovic, who has served as the head coach of Galatasaray Ekmas since the final part of the 2022/23 season.
We would like to thank Zvezdan Mitrovic for his contributions to our club during his tenure as the head coach of the Men's Basketball A Team, a position he was appointed to in May of last season, and we wish him success in his future career."
ARGUED WITH FANS
Mitrovic had an altercation with fans following the FIBA Champions League match against Dijon, in which the team had led by 25 points but ultimately lost.
