Departure at the Turkish Basketball Federation: That name has resigned

Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) Vice President Ömer Onan has announced that he has resigned from his position.

Ömer Onan, who is on the list of Fenerbahçe Presidential Candidate Aziz Yıldırım, stated that he is leaving the TBF 'to walk toward a new goal' with Yıldırım.

Ömer Onan included the following statements in his announcement:

"I would like to inform you that I have decided to step down from my duties, which I have held since 2016 as a Senior Executive, Board Member, and most recently as Vice President at the Turkish Basketball Federation. I hope that this decision, which I have taken to walk toward a new goal with my esteemed elder Mr. Aziz Yıldırım, whom I had the great honor and pride of working with during my time at Fenerbahçe Sports Club both as a player and an executive, will be beneficial for everyone. I would like to thank everyone I worked shoulder-to-shoulder with during my time at the Turkish Basketball Federation, especially President Hidayet Türkoğlu, as well as the Board Members and all my teammates, and I wish them success in the future."
