American player Derek Willis, who was injured during the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague match between Anadolu Efes and Serbia's Partizan yesterday, has undergone surgery.
In a statement released by the club, it was reported that following the injury sustained in the Partizan match, examinations revealed a fracture in the fourth finger of his right hand, and Derek Willis was operated on by Prof. Dr. Arel Gereli.
Anadolu Efes team doctor Uğur Diliçıkık stated that the surgery was successful and that Willis will be away from the court for 6-8 weeks.
