Diego Rossi windfall for Fener
Good news has arrived for Fenerbahçe regarding Diego Rossi, whom they sold to MLS side Columbus Crew at the beginning of this season. The club will earn an additional 1 million dollars from the Uruguayan player.
Good news has arrived for Fenerbahçe from MLS. With Columbus Crew finishing the league as champions, they will pay Fenerbahçe an extra fee due to the 'championship bonus' included in Diego Rossi's transfer contract.
With the Columbus Crew team, for which Diego Rossi plays, becoming MLS champions, Fenerbahçe has earned a 1 million dollar bonus from its former player, bringing the total revenue the Yellow-Navies have generated from Diego Rossi to 6.6 million dollars.
On the other hand, Fenerbahçe also holds a 15 percent share in the Uruguayan footballer's next sale.
ROSSI'S PERFORMANCE IN MLS
Playing 16 matches for Columbus Crew this season, Rossi delivered a performance of 5 goals and 6 assists.
The Yellow-Navies had transferred Rossi from Los Angeles FC for 5.5 million euros at the beginning of the 2022-2023 season.
The Uruguayan footballer was transferred to MLS side Columbus Crew for 5.6 million dollars at the beginning of this season.
