Dirk Kuyt begins his role as assistant coach at Fenerbahçe
Fenerbahçe has announced that Dutch coach Dirk Kuyt has started his role as the 1st Assistant Coach to Manager İsmail Kartal.
The statement released on the official website of the yellow-navy club included the following remarks:
"Dirk Kuyt, who played an important role in our club's championship during his playing career and won the love and appreciation of our fans with his professionalism, hard work, and fighting spirit, has returned home.
On this path we have embarked upon with the goal of winning the championship in our 120th year, we are filled with great happiness and excitement to see Dirk Kuyt back in our family as the 1st Assistant Coach to our Manager İsmail Kartal.
The signing ceremony held at the club headquarters was attended by our Vice President Barış Göktürk, our General Secretary Mahmut Uslu, our Board Members Nihat Özbağı, Önder Fırat, and Savaş Adalet, as well as our Football A.Ş. Board Members Feridun Geçgel and İsmail Balcı. Some bonds are not re-established because they never break. Welcome home, Dirk Kuyt."
