Former Anadolu Efes captain Doğuş Balbay has announced that he is ending his professional basketball career at the age of 34.
The star player shared the announcement on his social media accounts, thanking everyone who contributed to his journey.
Doğuş Balbay, who began his career at Fenerbahçe, signed with Anadolu Efes after spending two years studying in the United States. The experienced player spent 12 seasons with the team, eventually rising to the position of team captain.
During his time at Anadolu Efes, Doğuş Balbay won two EuroLeague titles, three Basketbol Süper Ligi championships, three Turkish Cup titles, and four Turkish Super Cup championships.
