Allegations of 'black market tickets' at Galatasaray Sports Club have become a major topic in the sports community.

Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek made statements regarding the matter.

"IT IS NOTHING MORE THAN A SCHEME DESIGNED TO STOP THE FLORYA PROJECT"

Speaking at the extraordinary council meeting held behind closed doors at RAMS Park, Özbek argued that the black market allegations were fabricated to hinder the Florya project.

It was stated that during the meeting, Özbek said, "The black market slanders are nothing more than a scheme designed to stop the Florya project."

"WE HAVE INITIATED AN INVESTIGATION INTO IRREGULARITIES"

It was also reported that in his speech at the extraordinary council meeting, Özbek used the following expressions: "We have invited everyone who has information and documents to apply to the club. We have initiated an investigation into irregularities by an independent audit firm. We have applied to the Capital Markets Board (SPK) for an inquiry. Our supervisory board has launched an investigation. And I personally went to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to file a criminal complaint."
