Ebrar Karakurt shock for the Sultans of the Net
The Turkish Volleyball Federation has released an update regarding Ebrar Karakurt's health status.
In a statement from the Turkish Volleyball Federation regarding Ebrar Karakurt's health status, it was stated that the athlete's safe return-to-play process has not yet been completed. Ebrar Karakurt is expected to take between 1 to 3 weeks to fully return to the court.
The statement noted that the athlete's rest period was completed first, followed by the initiation of a physiotherapy and controlled return-to-play program. Clinical evaluations and follow-up imaging conducted during the monitoring process were assessed jointly by the National Team medical staff and the Eczacıbaşı Sports Club medical staff.
As a result of the joint evaluation, although significant improvement was observed in the current findings, it was concluded that the athlete's safe return-to-play process has not yet been completed. This situation was cited as the primary reason for the athlete not being included in the squad.
