Ebrar Karakurt's team fined over jersey choice
Lokomotiv Kaliningrad, competing in the Russian Women's Volleyball Super League, has been fined 200,000 Rubles due to their choice of jersey.
Lokomotiv Kaliningrad, the team for which national volleyball player Ebrar Karakurt plays, received a fine due to their jersey selection during the match against Dinamo Ak Bars. In the fourth game of the final series, the team opted for the dark-colored jerseys they wore during their previous victory instead of the pre-determined light-colored ones.
This decision helped Lokomotiv Kaliningrad win the match 3-0 and tie the series at 2-2. However, this change of jersey resulted in a 200,000 Ruble fine for the club.
