RB Leipzig has announced the transfer of Elif Elmas from Napoli. In a statement from the German club, it was stated that a 4.5-year contract (until 2028) will be signed with Elif Elmas and that the Macedonian player will join the team in January.
RB Leipzig is expected to pay a transfer fee of 25 million euros to Napoli for Elif Elmas.
"THE RIGHT DECISION FOR ME"
Following his transfer, Elif Elmas said, "The club represents a special style of football with counter-pressing, speed, and attacking power, and that suits me very well. Leipzig is a great mix of young talents who can develop perfectly, as well as players who have been at the club for a long time and have achieved a lot. That's why signing for Leipzig is absolutely the right decision for me. I can't wait to start in January and get to know everyone."
The successful midfielder also added, "Leipzig has proven itself as one of the best clubs in the Bundesliga and has become one of the top teams in Europe in a very short time. The conversations I had with Rouven Schröder and Marco Rose showed me that I want to play for this club!"
