"I offer my respects to you all. I love you all and find you valuable. Thank you, may you exist. I took office by receiving 68 percent of the votes of this general assembly during my 6.5 years as vice president and subsequent 4-year presidency term. I thank this general assembly that appointed me. There is a subject I especially want to emphasize. Let us not question the Beşiktaş identity of any Beşiktaş fan who says they are a Beşiktaş fan. Let us respect and value them.

I want to remind you of the period when we took office. When we arrived, we had many problems. There were unpaid salaries. I tried to do my duty as much as I could. Those periods were very difficult periods. The clean record that needed to be given to UEFA at the end of September had been postponed to the end of October by writing a letter to UEFA. When I took office, I had 5 days in front of me for the clean record that needed to be given to UEFA. We brought the money, which was 400 million TL at that time, and overcame this problem.

Later, the pandemic period occurred. It was a difficult period. Creditors were demanding their receivables. When it came to giving money, no one was around with the excuse of the pandemic. During this time, there were enforcement proceedings that did not stop due to the pandemic period. We went through a very important process. I fought chest-to-chest with everyone who came to our door. This valuable community gave me the energy I needed with the 'Don't Leave Me' (Bırakmam Seni) campaign. This community is a great community, a very sacred community. Very interestingly, we dealt with a restructuring period. It gave instructions to pave the way for all of us in front of the banks. We did this restructuring as properly as we could. In that period, we saved 600-700 million TL by converting the 40 million euros left in the first restructuring into TL.

During the pandemic period, together with coach Sergen and the team, and with our women's team, we won 4 trophies. These trophies brought in this difficult period have great importance. It is the Beşiktaş fans who put these trophies in the museum in that period. It is the strength they gave us.

"THERE IS NOT A SINGLE PENNY OF UNPAID DEBT"

The earthquake period was also a troublesome process. Within 4 years, the pandemic and earthquake process came. We got tired. May it be well-deserved, Beşiktaş is standing. Today, there is not a single penny of debt left from yesterday that has not been paid. Other than the banks that have receivables from us, we have no debt. The incoming friends will not encounter such a problem.

Tüpraş, Mr. Rahmi Koç has always been by Beşiktaş's side. I want to thank him. We concluded the business in this sponsorship as well. In this process, the first year was already money that was a right the club was entitled to. The money that needed to be paid regarding the second and third years was collected early because it provided a financial profit to Beşiktaş. Not for the purpose of being used. Half of it went to the bank, to the debt. The other half is in the safe. Our incoming friends will use it. There is no such thing as a penny paid to us. The bank has taken its receivable. The other half has been left at the disposal of the friend who will be elected. I am handing over the duty I started with 400 million in debt with pluses in the safes. Let's accept this part.
