Eric Bailly officially joins Villarreal
Ivorian player Eric Bailly, who parted ways with Beşiktaş, has transferred to LaLiga side Villarreal.
The new team of Ivorian player Eric Bailly, who left Beşiktaş, has been confirmed. Spanish LaLiga side Villarreal announced that they have signed a 1.5-year contract with their former player Eric Bailly.
The 29-year-old player did not provide any goals or assists in the 8 matches he played for Beşiktaş this season.
CONTRACT TERMINATION BY MUTUAL AGREEMENT
Beşiktaş Club announced that the contract with Bailly was terminated following a mutual agreement. Here is the statement from Beşiktaş;
"The contract of our Football A Team player Eric Bailly has been terminated by mutual agreement. We wish Eric Bailly success in his career."
Following his transfer to the black-and-white team, Bailly was sidelined for 64 days after suffering injuries on 4 separate occasions due to 3 different reasons.
Bailly had been excluded from the squad along with Vincent Aboubakar, Valentin Rosier, Jean Onana, and Rachid Ghezzal following the Fenerbahçe derby.
