Ertuğrul Doğan responds to Fenerbahçe regarding Uğurcan Çakır

Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan has given a clear response to the Uğurcan Çakır transfer rumors that have occupied the agenda in recent days. Following reports that Fenerbahçe, in particular, is in pursuit of the national goalkeeper, Doğan made the following statement: 

“The Uğurcan issue has taken an interesting turn. I am very open and clear in my statements. I don't understand what there is to misunderstand about what I have explained. Uğurcan Çakır is our captain. He is one of our most valuable players. He is from Trabzon, he is a Trabzonspor fan. He is our brother. I have said this repeatedly, I don't remember how many times, emphasizing it every time.”

Speaking to A Spor, Ertuğrul Doğan emphasized that fans and the public should not believe the speculation, stating, “No matter how open we are, people try to interpret things in their own way. We have no intention of selling Uğurcan. I am saying this clearly and plainly.”

I WOULD NOT SELL HIM EVEN FOR 20 MILLION EUROS

Speaking definitively about the Uğurcan Çakır transfer, Ertuğrul Doğan stated, “Even if Fenerbahçe offered 20 million euros, I would not let Uğurcan go.”
