It has been stated that the application process for the expulsion of Acun Ilıcalı from membership at Fenerbahçe Sports Club has been initiated. It was reported that following applications from club congress members, the file was placed on the agenda of the Disciplinary Board.
According to the report in Sporx, it is alleged that the application was made to the club's disciplinary board by certain congress members known for their proximity to Aziz Yıldırım. With the start of the process, it was conveyed that the Disciplinary Board requested a defense from Ilıcalı regarding the matter.
In accordance with the club's bylaws, the Disciplinary Board is expected to complete its evaluation after Ilıcalı submits his defense. It was noted that the recommendation decision to be prepared by the board will then be forwarded to the Fenerbahçe Board of Directors.
It was stated that the final decision regarding the expulsion request will be made by the Board of Directors. There is currently no official statement reflected to the public from the club or Acun Ilıcalı regarding the process.
