Eyüpspor bids farewell to Caner Erkin
Eyüpspor has thanked experienced footballer Caner Erkin, whose contract has expired, for his contributions and wished him success in the remainder of his career.
In a post regarding the matter on the club's social media account, it was stated: "We thank our captain Caner Erkin, who made significant contributions to our team with both his performance on the field and his leadership during his time wearing our jersey, who left a mark on our community with the struggle, experience, and exemplary stance he showed every moment he carried the Eyüpspor crest, and who was one of the leading actors in our 1st League championship in the 2023-2024 season and our promotion to the Super League, achieving a first in our club's history. We thank him for everything and wish him success in the rest of his career. May your path be clear, Caner Erkin!"
The 36-year-old footballer appeared in 54 matches for Eyüpspor, recording 8 goals and 12 assists.
