Eyüpspor is preparing to compete in the Süper Lig next season under the leadership of Arda Turan and has initiated contact with Argentine star Manuel Lanzini as part of their transfer efforts.
The Istanbul representative aims to build a strong squad for the 2024-25 season and, in line with this goal, is conducting negotiations for the transfer of Lanzini, who has long been of interest to Süper Lig giants.
According to a report by TRT Spor, Eyüpspor is continuing discussions with Lanzini regarding costs and it is stated that a contract will be signed if the negotiations reach the desired level.
Lanzini returned to River Plate, the club where he was developed, following a 7-year stint at West Ham United, and his current contract is set to expire at the end of the season. The 31-year-old player also has a +1-year option clause with River Plate. Having played 125 minutes in 5 matches this season, Lanzini has contributed 1 assist to his team.
