Eyüpspor signs Samuel Saiz from Sivasspor
Eyüpspor has added Saiz from Sivasspor to its squad
1. Lig team Eyüpspor has signed Samuel Saiz from Süper Lig representative EMS Yapı Sivasspor.
In a statement released by the club, it was announced that a two-and-a-half-year contract has been signed with the 32-year-old Spanish midfielder.
The statement included the words, "We say 'welcome' to Saiz and wish him many victories in the purple-and-yellow jersey."
Saiz, who transferred to Sivasspor from the Spanish team Girona during the mid-season break last year, appeared in 35 official matches for the red-and-whites and scored 9 goals.
Sharing his thoughts on the transfer, Eyüpspor Club Vice President Fatih Kulaksız thanked Sivasspor Club President Mecnun Otyakmaz and the club's management for their assistance, stating, "Samuel Saiz is an important player who has proven himself in Europe and the Turkish Süper Lig. I believe he will make a significant contribution to our championship path. I wish this transfer to be beneficial for both parties."
Saiz, in turn, thanked his former team Sivasspor for their efforts, noting, "I am proud to join the Eyüpspor community. Our goals here are big. I will try to do my best and be worthy of this family both on and off the pitch."
