As discussions continue regarding the path the Portuguese star will take in pursuit of his 1,000-goal career milestone, a striking claim regarding a potential Süper Lig move has emerged.
Sports commentator Serdar Ali Çelikler, in his assessment on the NEO Spor YouTube channel, claimed that Ronaldo could come to Turkey during the mid-season transfer window. Çelikler also commented on the teams where the star footballer could play in the Süper Lig in such a scenario.
Stating that Ronaldo would be an automatic starter for any team in Turkey, Çelikler said, "Cristiano Ronaldo could come to Turkey during the mid-season break. If anyone takes him, it could be Galatasaray or Trabzon. He would play directly in the starting 11 for any team."
Touching on the possibility of a Galatasaray move, Çelikler expressed that the Portuguese footballer could change the balance of the squad. The experienced commentator said, "Let's say Galatasaray signs Ronaldo... Leao would immediately sit down and say, 'Go ahead brother, go ahead father.' Italiano would also want Ronaldo; you would send away whoever doesn't."
