Fans supporting Palestine banned from matches
Scottish club Celtic FC has banned fans belonging to the "Green Brigade" group, who have shown support for Palestine, from attending home matches.
According to reports in the British press, the club sent an email to members of the fan group informing them that season ticket holders are banned from attending home matches.
'PALESTINIAN FLAG' EMPHASIZED
The report emphasized that the decision came after fans displayed Palestinian flags in the stands during the UEFA Champions League match against Atletico Madrid.
It was noted that the club had previously been fined twice due to demonstrations by members of the "Green Brigade" and that it feared further disciplinary action from UEFA.
