Farewell message from Mert Günok
Goalkeeper Mert Günok, who has parted ways with Beşiktaş, published a farewell message on his social media account.
The 36-year-old goalkeeper, in his farewell message, included the following statements:
"August 15, 2021. The first day I signed with Beşiktaş...Hundreds of training sessions, dozens of matches, victories, defeats,injuries, comebacks,opportunities,bad luck... I experienced every emotion a goalkeeper could possibly feel. Beşiktaş iI always did my best forit. I played over 100matches in this jersey;not for a single moment did I letthe culture or history of this community be tarnished.
Dear Beşiktaş community and this clubthat has contributed to my careerall the staff; every journey has an end. Thank you so much for all the support you have given me up to this day. GoodFarewell, goodbye."
