This process and the results achieved have been an important and very valuable experience for our team and for us, showing what faith, discipline, and unity can change. Sarıyer Sports Club will always have a special place for me."
Manager Servet Çetin said goodbye to Sarıyer via his social media account. In his message, the 45-year-old coach stated, "Despite the public perception that our team, which was in 18th place with 4 points in the 10th week, would be relegated, I took on a very difficult task by taking responsibility with my team.
With the support of my staff, my players, our club employees, and of course the great Sarıyer fans, I carry the joy, pride, and honor of having fulfilled my duty properly, finishing the season in 12th place, 8 points behind the play-off zone, through the great effort and struggle we put forth.
This process and the results achieved have been an important and very valuable experience for our team and for us, showing what faith, discipline, and unity can change.
Sarıyer Sports Club will always have a special place for me.
I would like to thank my players, my staff, the club employees, and our distinguished fans, and I wish the Sarıyer Sports Club community success in the 2026-2027 football season in advance."
Servet Çetin, who took office in October 2025, managed Sarıyer in 29 league matches, recording 14 wins, 6 draws, and 9 losses.
