Faruk Koca, who attacked Halil Umut Meler, arrested

Three people, including Ankaragücü President Faruk Koca, who physically assaulted referee Halil Umut Meler, have been arrested. Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç, who announced the decision, also stated that "judicial control conditions were requested for 3 individuals."

Faruk Koca, who attacked Halil Umut Meler, arrested

Ankaragücü President Faruk Koca and 5 others who accompanied him, who attacked referee Halil Umut Meler after the MKE Ankaragücü - Çaykur Rizespor match which ended in a 1-1 draw, were referred to the courthouse.

President Faruk Koca, who was taken to the hospital after feeling unwell following his punch to referee Meler, was discharged after his treatment.

Taken from the hospital, Faruk Koca was brought to the Batı Courthouse in Ankara and was questioned by the prosecutor along with the other attackers.

An arrest warrant was issued for Faruk Koca after he was brought before the court.

Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç announced that Faruk Koca had been arrested in a statement on his X account.

 

 

HALİL UMUT MELER FILED A COMPLAINT!

Halil Umut Meler, who was taken to the hospital following the attack, gave his statement to officers from the Ankara Police Department's Sports Security Branch after undergoing examinations. It was learned that Meler, who watched the footage, filed a complaint against everyone involved in the attack after giving his statement.
