The young footballer's father, Mounir Nasraoui, was stabbed in a parking lot in Mataro on Wednesday night.
NO LIFE-THREATENING INJURIES
According to the newspaper La Vanguardia, Nasraoui was taken to the Can Ruti hospital in Badalona, and it was stated that his injuries are not life-threatening. The Mataro municipal police and the Mossos d'Esquadra are investigating the incident and have identified several witnesses.
REASON UNKNOWN
Sources with knowledge of the incident indicate that Nasraoui may have been involved in a fight for unknown reasons. Journalist Mayka Navarro stated that Yamal's father may have received multiple stab wounds.
